If you choose "report" from the Airbnb message, then the request is declined,  but it will not affect your ratings.

You can also continue with communication and depending on the outcome:

- Ask the guest to retract the booking request, as it is not a good fit to your listing. Then  no need to report or decline.

- Offer the guest what he is looking for....
