Hello everyone, and wishing you a great week! 😊
Today, I’d like to talk about the welcome message. It’s that first little moment when guests start to feel they’re in good hands.
Some hosts keep it short and sweet—check-in time, Wi-Fi, house rules. Others add a personal touch, like a nearby bakery they love or a kind note to say, “I’m glad you’re here.”
There’s no right way to do it, just your way.
What do you like to include in your welcome message?
I’m looking forward to reading your thoughts!
Warm Regards,
Elisa 🌻

Hi @Pascale653 😊,
Thank you so much for explaining this to me better!
No worries at all, I really enjoyed reading all your thoughts on it.
What have you included in your house manual?
Warm regards 🌻,
-----
Hi @Elisa
The house manual is mostly a practical guide for guests: it has general and detailed information on keys, locks and doors, how to get the gas stove working, the micro-wave, how to use the washing machine and where to find various useful bits and pieces. This manual is a constant work in progress where I can add more details, give more information about the area, designing the manual to make it look visually interesting, and leaving room for guests to make comments.
Cheers
Hi @Pascale653 😊,
thank you for letting me know!
This is so great for your guests. 😍
Do you have it in multiple languages or just English?
Warm regards 🌻,

Hi @Elisa
No worries. House manual is only in English. I would consider translating it if I thought it was a need or requested, and it would be mostly into Korean, Chinese, Indian and French, but I don't believe many guests read it because most of them are here for short stays and, so far, I think they prefer to ask questions face to face since I live in the apartment. As always, this could change.
🙂
