Hi, we are just moving out and transitioning to an air bnb. Any feedback or advice for a first timer?
What do you wish you would have known before your first guest?

@Elisa I hosted my first time last weekend. Everything went well. I do have a question about toliet paper and paper towel supplies based on length of stay. Any advice?

Hey @Lauren4741 ,
I'm a pretty new host too although we had a good few bookings since the start of the year when we opened our doors! I also haven't had too much time to scour the community info but two things that I wish I had known prior to my first booking were
1. There is a discount you can turn on for your first 3 bookings - apparently switching this on will have air bnb promote your listing more broadly
2. There is a dynamic pricing toggle that you can use and this allows air bnb to set your pricing based on other properties in your area and also seasonal fluctuations ( you know like they do on air line seats) - I used another tool for a month ( like a plug in) to do this and then realised that air bnb have an inbuilt tool... I think it seems attractive to people who might feel they are getting a 'deal' versus maybe a host who doesn't offer dynamic pricing...
just my two cents!
best wishes
Carrie
