Hello everyone 😊,
I hope your week is going well.
I believe that as a host, guests’ questions provide valuable insights into their needs and expectations. These questions can vary widely, offering opportunities to build trust and showcase your hosting expertise. Reflecting on frequently asked questions can also help you enhance your listing by addressing them proactively in your description.
I’m curious to know, what questions do your guests often ask?
Share your experiences and tips in the comments below!
Wishing you a great day,

Buongiorno @Elisa ,
even though I have prepared a Guidebook on Venice restaurants that I share with guests before their arrival, the question they ask me most often is "where can we go to eat?" 😂

Buon pomeriggio @Andrea6232 😊,
Thank you so much for sharing this here.
It's amazing to see how well you are prepared for your guests!
Could you share a picture of this guidebook? I’d love to see it.

We often get asked about local activities, public transit ease of use and sometimes have discussions about life in general.
Hi @Steven1764 😊,
thank you so much for sharing this here!
It’s really interesting. How do you suggest things for them to do? Do you have a guidebook?

It doesn't matter how thoroughly I explain everything and I have a very detailed information paper and inevitably they ask me the same questions that have already been answered!
My very first guest as an air B.N.B when I asked advice because she is an experienced traveler, she said assume nothing! People are stupid. Hahaha.
Hi @Susan5845!
Can you give us a specific example of a question that a guest always asks you? I'm intrigued to know what that questions are. 😅
Have a wonderful day, 😃
Alex
It’s usually where should I go to eat (and I have an extensive guidebook for the area with that included). Other times it is how far to a certain destination, or early check in requests, and once an unusual request, if our space was mold free which to my knowledge we are, as it was a new rebuild but the bones were not new but sometimes new materials can come with mold spores in it (! I know but it has happened to some), since the person had a severe issue, I advised them to go with a completely new construction but one can never be sure.
Another unusual one was could they rent our garage for their show car they were showing the weekend they were visiting, where is the closest park (I have a great selection of local, a close state park and a couple of national parks in the guidebook too).
Hi @Lorina14 😊,
Thank you so much for sharing this here!
I’m so fascinated by guidebooks at the moment. Do you happen to have a picture to share here? It would be nice to see it. 😍

Guidebooks are so unique - some are flavored with hosts insight and others are just lists. I’ve spent hours updating my guidebook to help anyone who is visiting our area and I still need to update some pics of some places. A constant work in progress.

For some reason if you scroll to the bottom it is missing my other categories. Maybe my book is too long? Sometimes it loads and other times it doesn’t.
Hi @Lorina14 😊,
This is an amazing guidebook! Thank you so much for sharing. 😍
What inspired you to create it?
