What to do when a guest brings a pet to my "no pets allowed" house?

What to do when a guest brings a pet to my "no pets allowed" house?

My listing clearly states that no pets are allowed. A guest brought a dog, which was shown on the outdoor security camera feed. What can/should I do? Can I charge a cleaning fee?

Contact the guest and ask why they've brought a pet against your terms and conditions . @Angela4602

say this is very unfair to guests who have booked with you on the basis that it's a pet free property .

personally I would have shared the evidence with Airbnb and ask them to cancel the booking and have the guests leave when I saw the pet on your cameras .

you can't charge an additional cleaning fee unless additional cleaning is required.

please leave an honest review to warn future hosts considering them.

Thank you for this advice. I did find in the host resources where AirBnb insures the cleaning costs when guests break the house rules regarding pets. Hopefully this will help. And I'll be sure to leave an honest review.
