Where is the closest liquor store?‌‌

Does it deliver? I forgot my supply. (first questions after check in.)

Ay yi yi. This is going to be fun. We leave guests a bottle of wine if they say they drink it (this one did.) And there are some small bottles of rum from a guest who visited a local distillery and left them for us. That should get them through until tomorrow. But what do I know? SIngle guest BTW.

@Laura2592   "Prices just went up again."

Fist bump.

@Laura2592 How about something like " XX seemed to be a nice person and her communication both before arrival and during her stay was good. Unfortunately, reading and understanding how to work things in our home was obviously challenging for her, resulting in some damages, as was cleaning up after herself".

Too harsh for her mental state?

@Laura2592  Maybe this is a case for XX seemed like a lovely person, XXXX, but she may be a better fit for a hotel environment where there is staff on site to assist guests in real time.  This kind of more coded review may not set her off the way a more direct overview of all the problems/cleaning would.

@Mark116 yes I will have to do the dreaded coded review. I actually fear this guest contacting me in the future. She was very communicative and has all of our contact info. I don't want to deal with her if she is triggered by honesty.

@Laura2592  I think we're in the minority, but my bad reviews are always somewhat coded.

It just isn't worth it to me, the potential downside(s), with people who know the address, our names, our cell numbers, to get into one of these crazy s***fights with a former guest, especially in this case w/someone who may have emotional or other mental health issues.  I also figure that people who behaved badly on their own probably have a high ceiling of bad behavior when they are actually angry, and I'm not interested in engaging with that.  I sometimes feel guilty for not laying out the details on some of the worst guests, but then I remember how many poor guests we've had who came with RAVE! reviews, and I stick with what seems best for us.
