Why Airbnb needs to charge to the host if guest cancelled this is not good way to do that so they should find suitable way to solve this issue. We are not happy with this policy and hope Airbnb can do solve this policy.

@Sophannara0 Airbnb absolutely should fine a host when they cancel a booking. It is often necessary to compensate guests as a replacement property may be more expensive for them to save their trip. If there is a good reason to cancel then Airbnb will not charge a host.

Hi @Sophannara0 Airbnb charges host for cancellations if Hosts cancel a reservation from their side. If the guest asks you to cancel the booking on their behalf and you agree to do so, it is considered a cancellation by the host. In this case, you might be subject to penalties, such as Loss of income for those booked dates and a Cancellation fee. Did you receive a cancellation request from your guest? 

If a guest requests a cancellation and you want to avoid penalties, you can encourage them to cancel the reservation through their Airbnb account. This way, the cancellation is on the guest, not you. Hope this helps!

The guest did not want to cancel and we asked him to do by himself then Airbnb still charged my income from our earning money and this is not fare for us.
