Why can only the main guest who made the booking leave a review?

Hi,

I stayed at a homestay with two friends and we were unhappy with quite a few things. I thought I would leave a review, but found I can’t because I didn’t make the booking. I was only added as a guest.  But I stayed there just as much as the others?

Is there a reason for this?  Many, I imagine, won’t make the effort of leaving a review through someone else. And it’s a shame because the more reviews (positive or negative) the better. The community needs to be informed!

Because you aren't the guest who made the booking. Presumably you've liaised with the person who booked to agree on the sort of review you want to leave @Torr109

Hello @Torr109

It's Airbnb's policy that only the booker can leave a review I'm afraid.  I presume that the person who booked stayed with you and left a review that reflected your experience?
