Airbnb typically does not accept prepaid American Express cards for bookings. Even if the card is loaded with sufficient funds, the platform often requires a traditional credit or debit card with a registered billing address. Some prepaid cards may work if they allow international transactions, but most are declined due to security and verification policies.
If your payment isn’t going through, try using a different payment method, such as a standard credit card, PayPal (if available in your country), or an Airbnb gift card.
