Workmen entering the unit

We have a broken appliance - the host has agreed to have it replaced.  We said we wanted to be present when the work is being done as we are not comfortable having someone in the unit while we are gone.  She has just told us that the work is scheduled to be done 4 hours from now, however we cannot be there at that time.  What can we do? Thanks,

WoW~ I'm actually a bit envious that the host can get someone to come out and to do the work in 4 hours from the original phone call !! Where we live, it'd take a tradesman several days to respond with an appointment/date IF they even called back. 😞

Can you pack your things and put them in your vehicle for that time ? If you can't be there, it's a shame but obviously the host doesn't get a choice when scheduling a repair.
