Have you checked whether any new regulations have been introduced for your area concerning STR's?

Another possibility is that there are registration numbers to acquire and authorisations needed to operate.   Double check that you have entered all the required fields concerning payment too.

Per @Joelle43 's comment, there are restrictions for STRs in your area. Did an internet search for Short Term Regulations in San Bernadino County and there are regulations for STRs with reservations less than 30days. If you haven't complied, you will be restricted to stays 30nights or more.

San Bernardino County requires a permit for short-term rentals (30 days or less) in unincorporated desert areas, including Newberry Springs. These permits ensure compliance with county ordinances covering occupant limits, a 24-hour complaint resolution number, and adherence to fire, building, zoning, and health codes.
