guest will not cancel

Our guest was bringing a pet which we do not allow. They told me they would cancel but have not. How do we unblock calendar or cancel them without penalty?

You can ask the guest again to cancel within a time-limit

You can contact Airbnb and ask for penalty free cancellation

In both cases be prepared for a negative review.

If it is a short stay, maybe make arrangements with the guest about the pet.

Or shorten the stay ("change" option)

Remind them that if they don't cancel, what your refund policy is, e.g. if they don't cancel they aren't getting a refund.
