guest staying beyond check out and taking things from airbnb
Hi @Serena673
1. Firstly and foremost, I would suggest to install an external camera at the property to basically have an overview of the property.
2. I would also recommend you to report the same to Airbnb support for these mischiefs that guests sometimes does. They mostly listen to it.
Let me know if this helps 👍🏻
Hi @Serena673,
Is this something that happens often for you? How have you managed those situations so far?
Vivek has shared some advice on how they'd approach both challenges, and I wanted to mention a few other hosts to get their take as well: @Marie8425 @Jon5060 @Jeanna27 @Muhammad-Ali7 @Chione0 I'd love to know what you would recommend Serena can do in this case!
Thanks everyone 🙂

I am moving into my second decade with Airbnb We all experience a problem Guest occasionally If you are routinly late check outs and thievery, you have to reveiw how are you contributing? If there is a common theme of late check outs maybe your time is too early?
If thievery is common, that is odd because most human beings just don't steal. I would consider more accidental removal of something? Pocket size item or something like bathrobes hotels don't wash and reuse a bathrobe, Guests might accidently thimk your going to throw away so they don't perceive it as stealing.
Thank you @Marie8425 for your wise ponderations! @Serena673 I'm curious, could you give us some examples of items guests have taken?
