There is one of Skiing:
An AI goes through all lstings (I think, once a week) and checks if your listing fits the requirements.

Hi @David122 ! Did you get a chance to read Till and Kia's suggestions? It looks like a great idea to update the description of your listing and add relevant photos to help AI determine if your listing is a good fit for Ski category.
Keep us posted on how you work through it!🌻
this is actually not the category for skiing, you're showing the icon for ski-in/ski-out, there is another one for skiiing (a pair of poles next to a pair of skis). Ski-in/ski-out is a highly sought-after feature for a skiiing vacation as it means you do not need to take any form of transport to reach the slopes, the property is on the slopes.
so the question is, how does Airbnb determine that a property really is ski-in/ski-out? I can see when I search my resort, a number of properties no-where near the trail head are listed as such, but mine is not.
That is a bit sneaky on the part of a host.
@David122 Skiers/guests are well aware that their intended recreation is skiing, so they're going to look for places within a radius of the area they want to ski in. It's not rocket science. Describe your listing as it is, and then mention the distance and travel time to area resorts. Pretty simple.
