Aloha  hosts, I have been renting str for 9 years and this year hardly anyone is booking. I need to meet my expenses and am in the resort district in Kihei, any suggestions for finding a renter for 3-6 months at a time on this platform? Hope you are doing better than I am!

Airbnb is not really the LTR Market in Hawaii.  LTRs usually are more local avenues,

A few suggestions

Looking at your reviews it seems your market is 2 Guests probably island hopping.

Tweak photos and description to entibe more a couple romantic relaxing after a day exploring the beach.  Max 2 Guests.

Use Airbnb Custom Discounts a 20% discount Airbnb markets and you don't have to discount price every nite rented then just the nights you advertised.

Look at last years bookings are you typically weekday or weekend?  Your Guests compliment your advice on where to eat what to visit create some Guidebooks not only good for Guests good if someone is searching ideas on the general internet search computers read " Keywords".
