min rental duration

My listing is set as a 38 minimum, 120-day maximum. The listing itself even indicates that it's at least a 30 day minimum rental. However in the last month, despite me having rented this space through Airbnb for more than 2 years, people keep asking for a couple of days, 7 days, far less than 30 days and none of them seem to see this minimum rental. I'm wondering why is Airbnb allowing the request to even go through? Is there something I'm missing?

Are you sure they aren't sending inquiries rather than booking requests @Julie7149 ? 

do you have up front in your listing that you only accept 38 days plus bookings ?

I do. (30, 38 was a typo).  very clearly. for a year nothing like this. I feel like smthg chgd in the app but I don't see it.

yes it is clearly stated in the listing. a couple were inquiries abt the unit but about 5 were actual booking requests (I manually approve them all).

I had a quick look at your listing and it looks like you have a 5 night minimum, so you may want to have a look at your listing settings again.

@Helen3 do you think there may be some calendar settings causing this error?

when I check in settings it says 30 day min so I'm not sure why it says 5 even you look at it....I have gone In and "redone" the 30 days min twice now. any ideas??

even so, some are asking for 2 and 3 nights. so strange.  Idk how to "fix" it when it says 30 day min in calendar settings on my end.

I've just been onto your listing and guests can book the 15th to the 17th May on your calendar!  That's why you're getting these requests I think.

No it's also from the 8th June to the 10th and guests can book just 2 days or 5days and even 10 days within that time frame!  Are you using Professional Tools or a Channel Manager by any chance?

Go onto your calendar and click on those dates to see the minimum stays or check in guest mode and  you'll see what I mean.
