I’ve been hosting for over a year now, but I continue to face challenges in securing reservations. The most concerning part is that I’m not even receiving inquiries, which leaves me with no opportunity to engage with potential guests or make offers.
Despite having strong visibility-2462 first page search impression and 1624 total page views in the past month—there has been no conversion. I reached out to Airbnb support, and they recommended connecting with experienced community members like you for guidance.
If possible, I would be grateful if you could take a quick look at my listing and share any feedback or potential issues you might notice.

Hi @Pritam4 Firstly, be aware that the weekly page view stats relate to views over the preceding six month period searching for dates that week. In other words, when it says you've had, say, 350 views 'this week', it doesn't mean current views/people looking now, it means a total of 350 views for that week over the preceding six months. (It's therefore not very helpful, but that's just the way it is - no idea why).
Nevertheless, it's a positive that your two listings have good search positions and are getting views. Because you don't necessarily need a lot of views to get a booking, but you do need a high search position to get seen.
The fact that views are not converting into bookings seems to suggest that your listings are not appealing enough, and/or there are other places nearby which are better in some way?
I can only give you my personal opinion, based on 11+ years' experience as a superhost, and also many times as an Airbnb guest. Airbnb is my top choice platform for holiday accommodation. Also, in my 20s, I travelled for a month in India (before Airbnb!) so I have at least a little experience of your beautiful country, a long time ago.
Anyway, my thoughts about the listings.
I find the insertion of numerous and anonymous/unverified 'reviews' quoted in the listing description really off-putting, plus the 'trademark' initials. The descriptions read like a commercial hard-sell, not the vibe I'd expect/want from Airbnb/India (albeit as a Western traveller - which might not be your target audience??)
But, for me, the descriptions lack a lot of the information I'd be looking for.
For example, the entire home is self-catering with kitchenette, and the other listing is a room with no kitchen (not a 'cottage'). But where do guests buy food to cook, or, at the room listing, where do they go for breakfast or other meals? (and what do room listing guests do about laundry, as there's no washing machine?)
The photos really need improvement. The photos of the pool are lo-res and blurred when enlarged. The bedroom in the entire home doesn't seem to have any windows. It's unnecessary to fancy things up with towels shaped into swans on the bed, when these are very cheap-priced listings; again, this might be a Western perception, but, for me, I'd want a rustic and unpretentious vibe, with plain white bedlinen and no frilly towel performance.
Hope this helps. Do ask if you have any questions - I've not said everything I might have but just keeping it simple for now.
Hi @Pritam4 😊,
Thank you for asking this question here!
Did you experience this as well when you first started hosting?
I’m tagging a few experienced hosts to see what they might suggest: @Oksana127, @Tara0, @Marie8425 and @Karen4131.
Thank you in advance everyone!
Warm regards 🌻,
