I was interested in an apartment in the centre of basel, very good offer and unbelievable price.

Then I made some research on internet and found out that it was a scam.

Die Küche ist komplett ausgestattet. Sie können mieten die Wohnung von 1 Monate bis zu 10 Jahren (mit Verlängerungsmöglichkeit). In der Wohnung können bis zu 4 Personen übernachten.

Am Anfang habe ich ein paar Fragen:
- Wie viele Personen bleiben in der Wohnung?
- Ab wann möchten Sie einziehen?
- Wie lange möchtest du bleiben?

Ich warte auf Ihre E-Mail, um zu wissen, ob Sie mit den Details meiner Wohnung zufrieden sind, die ich Ihnen gegeben habe, sowie um die Besichtigung der Wohnung zu arrangieren und weitere notwendige Vorkehrungen zu treffen. The rent is 1.000,00 CHF per month. The deposit is 2.000,00 CHF. The deposit is paid only once and it will be returned at the end of the rental period.
The rental agreement validity is from 1 month to 10 years (with possibility of extension). The rental agreement is an usual one.

As i said i live in United Kingdom and i can't travel to show you the apartment. I am ready to send the keys so that you can visit and check the apartment.
The rental process will be made through Airbnb (airbnb. com). I will advertise the apartment on Airbnb and i will send you the link.
You will receive a signed copy of the rental agreement and the apartment keys after you make the reservation on Airbnb website.

We will use the Airbnb services just for the first month. After the first month you will send the money directly to my bank account.

- You will have 5 days to verify the apartment and take a decision.
- If you don't like the apartment, Airbnb will refund the transfer to your bank account. If you decide to rent it, Airbnb will send the transfer to my bank account.

- If you want to pay in advance for 6 months or 1 year, I can make a discount. For 6 months you will pay 5.100,00 CHF ( + 2.000,00 CHF the deposit) and for 1 year you will pay 9.600,00 CHF ( + 2.000,00 CHF the deposit).
- How much do you want to pay: 3.000,00 CHF (1 month rent and the deposit included), 7.100,00 CHF (for 6 months and the deposit included) or 11.600,00 CHF (for 1 year and the deposit included)?

I want to use Airbnb for the renting process. I left a copy of the keys at AirBnb and they will send an agent to meet with you and visit the apartment in his presence.
Here is the booking process:

1. I will send you the Airbnb invitation so you can choose the period and follow the steps to complete the booking and the payment on the Airbnb website.
2. After the payment is confirmed, you will be contacted by Airbnb to schedule an appointment with their agent.
3. If everything is in order and you decide to rent the apartment, Airbnb will send the payment to my bank account.
4. If you refuse to rent the apartment, Airbnb will give you a full refund!

If you want to pay in advance for 6 months or 1 year, I can make a discount. For 6 months you will pay 3.400€ (the deposit is included) and for 1 year you will pay 5.200€ (the deposit is included).

How much do you want to pay: 1.500€ (1 month rent and the deposit included), 3.400€ (for 6 months and the deposit included) or 5.200€ (for 1 year and the deposit included)?
