New owner of property (whole home)

Our home will have new owner by mid May 2022.

Does new owner have option of changing pricing? 

What is policy for guests that have booked with pricing from prevoius owner?

 

Our last property we sold was riddled with many problems as Airbnb kept notifying me (previous owner) & not new owner 

when guests were using the property. I would like to know now how to avoid confusion for guests. Prior owner can not be held responsible for any issues 

that occur with property use under new owners. 

I would like a way to notify Airbnb of date of closing so that NO MORE issues that guest using property are directed to me (prior owner).

@Elvia16 There is no way to transfer a listing. The new owner must start from scratch. You must honor the bookings already in place under your account or cancel them and the cancelled guests must book with the new owner under their new listing. Stop taking new bookings. All decisions regarding listing set up and pricing is up to the new host/owner. Airbnb is not involved, it’s up to you to sort it out.
