[Update] New process for updating Plus photography

Hello Plus hosts,

The Plus Host Success team is excited to share something that many of you have asked about: “How can I update my Plus photos?”. 

You can remove photos from your Plus listing and add them to an unassigned photo section of your listing management page that is not visible to guests. You can add these photos back when you want. The feature is only available on a browser, not in the Airbnb app. 

Editing Current Photos

Desktop

1. Go to Listings and select the listing you want to edit
2. Under Listing details, go to Home tour and click Edit
3. Select room you want to edit by clicking the drop-down menu
4. Click Edit photos
5. Select the photos you want to remove (uncheck the boxes on the photos)
6. To add photos, go to the unassigned photos section located at the bottom of the page
7. Select the photos you want to add by checking the boxes (up to 5 per room total)
8. Review photos and click Save

Mobile web browser on a tablet (be careful not to open the app)

1. Tap Listings and select  the listing you want to edit
2. Under Listing details, go to Home tour and click Edit
3. Select room you want to edit by tapping the drop-down menu
4. Tap Edit photos
5. Select the photos you want to remove (uncheck the boxes on the photos)
6. To add photos, go to the unassigned photos section located at the bottom of the page
7. Select the photos you want to add by checking the boxes (up to 5 per room total)
8. Review photos and tap Save

The order of the rooms in your home tour cannot be changed. You can change the order of photos in a room by removing all the photos, clicking Save, and adding them back in the order you want. 

Adding new photos

To add new photos to your Plus listing, you will need to contact Airbnb Community Support and ask to speak to an agent.

• Provide us with your own photos. We’ll need to review and approve them to be sure they meet our Plus photo standards.
• Request a photoshoot. You will be responsible for the cost of the photoshoot, which varies depending on the size and location of your listing.
• Get a new cover photo. You can submit a new cover or request that one of your current photos be featured.
• Provide us with seasonal photos. They’ll  be available for you to change with the seasons.

Hi Cecile,

Air BnB did our first photo shoot for us but the quality of the photographs is not good. We have also made some changes in the apartment so thought it might be good to update. If we take the photos ourselves how do we send them to you for approval?  Laura De Marco
