Can a home be listed twice, by two different people?

Hello! 

I am new to this, so this may be an obvious question! 

We are managing a property effective October 1st.  We would like to list the property ASAP however, the current management company still has the listing active and has rentals through October 1st. 

Can both listings exist simultaneously?  Does that violate any guidelines?  Will people be able to find my listing?

@Tarrah4  you should contact the owner and ask him what he wants to do - to keep both of you to manage his property or just you? If he wants only you to manage it then the owner should let the other manager know and tell them to stop accepting further bookings. Maybe they want to honor these existing bookings and in this case, you should block these dates on your calendar as well to prevent overbooking.

I don't think it is against ABB policy if 2 agencies / managers have the same unit advertised but it is not practical
