Do you host local guests?

I'm curious if other hosts have had issues with hosting local guests. The vast majority of my guests as wonderful,  easy to get along with, and rave about their time here.  The few who seem to cause problems are mainly local guests that stay for one reason or another. They seem to be the ones who leave bad reviews ( all of my other reviews are 5 star) and don't respect our house rules. Does anyone else have this issue? Are there additional questions I should be asking local guests to avoid this problem?

There have been numerous posts on this site not to host locals.

And I agree. 2 of my worst guests were from an hour away.  I did them a favor, 2 days for the price of 1.  they slammed me on value.
