NYC STRs in 2 family homes

I have reservations for short stays until December. I know some hosts are either removing their listings or asking guests to cancel from August onward  and changing their settings to 30 day bookings. I’d like to hear other guests’ thoughts on this subject. Should one wait until September 5th to ask guests to cancel their reservations?

The Community Center is a global forum with Hosts from all over the world, which can sometimes make it a challenge to get in touch with local Hosts.
