New Host

Hello everyone, my name is Eddy, I have just listed our very first airbnb a few days ago in Ottawa, Canada. Everything is so new to us, but we are super excited! I am in the learning process, and I know there are a lot of experienced host here in the community.

Would love to hear from you all about any special tips or advice. : )

@Eddy362 I don't think you should force 'departure instructions' on guests without telling them what they are at the time of booking. For all a potential guest knows they might be asked to do ridiculous things - not that you could enforce this anyway.

That is very good! We have not gotten a quick booking until we are listed for like 10 days. But luckily we have a total of 4 bookings now for the next 6 months. : )
