Simplified pricing Are You Using it?

I am debating if I should used simplified pricing or not. I see a couple threads here (though a bit old) that say it is not good. I am trying to figure out if that is the case in 2023 or if all the "bugs" been ironed out.

Most people say they saw a drop in booking and it is the worst thing ever.

I am wondering how that is the case now, as every time I do searches I see the total price and the price per night with everything included so not sure if that problem is the case again.

Only thing I think what might be harder is doing discounts as not sure if you do 5% of the base price in the split model and then do 5% of the simplified way if they end up with the same amount of money. I would think it would since it is %'s but have not worked it out.

So wondering if there are any other reasons in 2023 you would not want to use simplified pricing?

@Michael7015 in some countries and for some listings using simplified pricing could out a host over the VAT threshold.

Ah, that is not a concern for me I already charge the equivalent of VAT in my country.
