What’s up with the owners on here not knowing what their availability is,2 times reservations got canceled because dates or pricing wasn’t up to date

@Robert6248 So sorry this is happening to you. I do know that hosts are penalized if they cancel reservations without a good cause. Please rest assured that the majority of hosts do not just cancel reservations. We are a business after all and need the income.

@Robert6248 did the hosts that cancelled on you have good feedback or was there anything in past reviews to throw some shade on them?  It’s unusual for good, strong, established hosts to cancel bookings.

Each one had 5-7 reviews on their units,one canceled said price wasn’t updated,came back with double the price,then the other canceled after taking a deposit,dates not available,which they refunded but I put alit time in picking that unit

@Robert6248  5-7 reviews is not much. These sound like relatively inexperienced hosts who don't yet know what they're doing.

The problem may well be that these hosts failed to keep their calendars up to date or don't know how to turn off Instant Book, but it's also possible that one or more of them was uncomfortable because you have an empty profile with no photo and no reviews.
