Host Referrals

I followed a link on my profile to refer a host and referred two new listings.  We did not receive a credit and were told we didn't qualify.  When I followed this up wiht Airbnb Support team, they said I did indeed qualify so I requested help in receiving the credit.  I was referred to someone else and they said they could not warrant the referral.  This seems like very shoddy business to post an advetisement to refer someone then nothing.  Several emails back and forth later and their final resolve is to lose our business and that of the ones we are referring all based on saying the program expired, and yet it still remains as an incentive on my portfolio and their initial support team said we qualified?  Is this a big sham or what?
