If I've become ill and can not host will Air bnb release my reservations without penalty?

I need to cancel all upcoming reservations due to illness that will take a few months to esolve. Will Air Bnb allow me to cancel without penalty?

These are extenuating circumstances and I can provide medical records.

I know I can go and cancel eservations by myself but I'm guessing I need to call in for these special circumstances. Has anyone dealt with this before? Can you provide info?

You could also contact Airbnb on forehand and ask if they are willing to cancel (or  relocate the guests):

You have gotten the good advice from @Emiel1 make sure they understand the circumstances and I imagine they will be glad to take care of everything for you.
