My payout method is ready but in Default.

Please help. Im new to this and I have searched through the whole site and I still dont understand this. I added my account number to the payout preferences so I could receave money from guests. It shows that the status is Ready but the payment method is Default so automaticaly they dont verify my bank account. Does it mean that I have to choose another payout method?

Your understanding of default is correct in certain contexts but not this one.

Default in this situation means that is the payment method the system will use automatically unless you tell it to do otherwise.

That's the great thing about English - why have two words when you can use one.

@Zane3 I think you might have misunderstood. The word default there means that the payout method you have chosen is the one that Airbnb will use until you tell them to do something else. You have that word there even if you only have 1 payout method.

I am also having problems getting paid! I had guest sept 12-18 and still have not been paid! They sent a test deposit to my account for .01 to confirm payment but no other money has been received.
I cannot reach anyone by message and I do not have a telephone number.
Any help would greatly be appreciated!!
