And @Sheri27, think about it. Why would AirBnB give an advance? The guest, or even the host, could cancel the upcoming reservation.

Airbnb  sends out the payment, usually 24 hours, after the guest has checked in, never sooner.  Payment may be delayed, depending on booking timing because of bank transfer rules.  For example, a guest books Friday to Sunday, Airbnb sends out the payment on Saturday. However, Bank XYZ is closed Saturday and Sunday, then the payment should be received Monday, barring any other obstacles.
