Assistance dealing with Los Angeles dept of Planning?

I have received an email from LADP telling me I need to immediately remove my listing ( I have a number of bookings coming up) as they say I do not have a building permit for my guest house.  I do not have a guest house and do not indicate that I do on my listing.  They do not have a means to contact them, just an order to immediately remove listing or provide permit for the guest house that doesn't exist.  Is there someone at Airbnb that understands these regulations and can help me navigate this tricky situation?

I'd suggest contacting your city council person, they are hooked into the local government and can figure out how to fix this & as potential voter you matter to them. Airbnb has no vested interest in you as a host but as a tax payer and voter you do have a voice in your community, good luck.
