Hi all, I’ve been charged £280 by a host for damages I haven’t caused - 

they found a cig burn on the sofa at some point after my stay, charged me £280 - which airbnb have taken out of my bank automatically- I don’t even smoke

because the host has a picture of the cig burn - and a receipt of the repair I’m automatically guilty as I don’t have any evidence it was done before/after my stay - I barely used the room, was travelling for work purposes 

anything I can do ?

Hello @Daniel12517, I am so sorry about this situation. I can imagine how frustrating it can be.

Have there been any updates since you posted here? I hope this has been resolved.

Hi Paula, that’s for the reply.. yes it’s finally been sorted and airbnb and refunded the £280 thankfully.
