Does Co-Hosting effect Superhost status?

Does Co-Hosting effect Superhost status?

Hi, I'm a superhost, and have been invited to co-host a neighbouring property. The neighbouring property isn't as nice as my own! So I'm hesitating because: if I co-host the neighbouring property and if it only gets 3* or 4* reviews, will those stars be allocated to me, and therefore negatively impact my own superhost status?

If you add yourself as a co-host and leave the original host as the primary listing owner, then the ratings and reviews stay with the property and the listing owner. As a cohost, reviews on that property do not affect your status. Here’s the article on airbnb and other resources for cohosting. Hope this helps.

Hi @Graham494

I don't believe it would affect your Superhost status. However, if you ever wanted to list on Airbnb's Experienced Co-Host platform, it might affect that:

"...Experienced Co-Hosts may be temporarily hidden from the Hosts’ search results on the Co-Host Services Platform if the average guest rating is less than 4.6 on Airbnb. The “Average Rating” is calculated based on the average guest star rating in the last 12 months of all listings that an experienced Co-Host manages, either as a Co-Host or as a Host..."
