Getting my funds returned

I recently  had a guest that I had problems with (not following house rules, using our personal items and leaving our space smelling of marijuana). Unfortunately I had to ask the guest to leave short of his original date. I called airbnb because I wasn't sure how to refund my guest his funds for the days he was no longer staying. The rep i spoke to told me to go through the resolution center, which I did. I put in a request for my guest to received $267.00 back. Airbnb also refunded the guest the same amount so the guest received double of what he was supposed to. Airbnb is still taking funds that I do not owe out of payments. How do I recover the $267.00 the airbnb over payed the guest? Please help!

You shoukd have shortened the reservation ("change" option) , then the refund is done instantly and remaining calender dates are made free. Then Airbnb does not need to be involved.

 

Was the reservation cancelled and by who ?

Not clear to me why Airbnb is also performing a refund, while the CS rep told you to do it manually .

You need to contact Airbnb about this issue.
