I am having a difficult time with my city, they come by and post violations on my door even though my account isn't active. No one in the city seems to know how to assist me as they have recently launch the policing of all vacation rentals. I'm perfectly fine with following the rules. But no one seems to know who knows what and what to do... and I can't move forward. This is becoming the biggest pain and I need help. Is anyone experiencing this issue? If so, please help.

@Fabiola108 if your city has forced Airbnb to hand over its data on local hosts, what they have now is only the info on your past bookings - not your calendar for future stays that might not exist. But on the question of what to do about that, it really depends on what the local laws require. Is there a registration process for short term rentals, or are they outright banned? And was your listing compliant during the time it was active?
