I have not been paid

Is anyone else experiencing no payment from AirBnB? I am now looking at taking this to the media as it is unlawful and unethical to be holding any payments back without sufficient evidence and explanation. The support team are terrible even though we pay through the roof for it. It has been two weeks of pain, no payout and I am now removing my listing from Airbnb and my mothers. The hassle and expense is totally not worth it and I do wonder, what the hell has happened to AirBnB it used to be so amazing but now it is nothing but a nightmare. Help please!

I am experiencing same thing, I have 5 reservations that were not paid. I’m using Paypal for payouts. 
I contacted the airbnb support every single day and their response is they will forward my case to their team member to assist me and Closed my thread. Now, I don’t know if I should open a thread again to contact them or they will just contact me. Very frustrating! 

I hope they will help our case. 

I’ll let you know, I just spoke to the 5th person and they again said they will escalate this case. It’s really not good

HI Bec I have the same situation as you and have not been paid yet I have called ten times and emailed and constantly given bland reassurances but nothing happens.  I am now cancelling future bookings with AirBnb.  Did you eventually get paid?

We have done the same! The hassle

is too much and we are now looking at other platforms. We have not been paid, I got a verified notification email saying my payment details are fine (like last time!) they are not looking into it and I seriously believe they must be holding so much money for interest purposes. Even if they hold it for a month that’s a lot. Very very dodgy practices but the issue I find it’s a global

company so going to small claims etc is pointless. We as a host have no rights. We too spent alot and prepared our home, we would never have done this if we knew. Also, it says 5-7 days for pay out not 30days? Aren’t they breaking a law?? Thank you all for your support really means a lot not to feel alone in this!! 

Have you had any luck? I am still unpaid for 2 x bookings it's about $5,500 NZD so a very considerable amount for our family. I am especially frustrated by the lack of concern by anyone at Air BNB about this! 

Not paid yet, this is now day 18 and I have a feeling we won’t see it until day 30.

24 days for myself waiting for $5500 !!! It’s my only income spent so much to set up this airbmb

are we allowed to cancel future com-firm bookings ? If the booking date is in  a month ? I can’t see myself still welcoming guests without any payments … iam seriously thinking they are working with our money 😩😩😩

I heard from

the payment specialist saying they have sent the money and it will take 7 business days. 
I responded with an image of the original verified email, he said you must have a verified account and I said I did. I said there is something not right here with the lack of transparency and said “I realise that but if you send me a verified bank notification but in fact it is incorrect then you must assume this is not right?” No response. I said you are holding my money and it will be 30 days when I get it and that others are clicking onto what you are doing and an investigation will happen. I’ll let you know “when” I get it

Fingers crossed for you! I have been told someone will be in touch from the payments team and while they can't give a timeframe it will be in a 'timely' manner. Really puts me off booking through Air BNB as well knowing the host won't receive for so long.

So you did have a payment specialist on the phone ? I tried to talk to one with no luck 

like everyone I don’t think I will continue with them 

I have been told to remove my original (verified) account details and load another account. I said I can't see the details of my original account loaded so can you please provide me details of what I originally loaded for me to double check given it was verified. They have come back saying they can't provide details of what I loaded originally because of confidentiality....but it is my account! So bizarre. I triple checked it at the time of entering the details so I don't actually believe the details were incorrect but anyway I have deleted the payout method and loaded another one so will see what comes of it!

Exactly the same as me. Did you receive the original verification email? I sent them a screen shot of it and said how can it be wrong when you verified it?

Yes the original account was verified. They should at least be able to say what account was loaded as I entered the exact same details second time round!

Hi 👋 iam a new host and iam still waiting for payouts since 25 December and like you on the phone you have to repeat again and again the story . I don’t know what to do it’s really frustrating
