Original host's mental illness prevents us from switching website to us.

We need help.  The original host created a lovely airbnb which she needed to sell when her husband died unexpectedly.  We purchased the property, but then the host had a mental breakdown, and we are unable to access the site to make changes.  The income from the Airbnb is still being deposited to her account, however, when the banking issue is resolved with a power of attorney, we still need access the account to make changes to the banking, add our new amenities, etc.   Any advice would be appreciated.  We'd like to maintain the original website and just switch it to us.

@MaryAnn-M0 moving accounts from one person to another is not allowed by Airbnb. You will need to close the original listing and create a new one on your name.

To add to Mike and Jane's advice, perhaps you can contact airbnb and report the listing under the original host as "no longer exists" or something along the lines that that host and their listing is no longer there.  The original listing should be deactivated due to the circumstances if I understand correctly.
