Problems with payment

This is happening to my guest and happened to me also when I tried to book a room - the website won't accept the credit card and keeps asking for another card or form of payment.  The first problem is that the payment is over $3000 and it's standard among banks to limit payouts to under $3000.  I called my bank and they raised my limit to $5000 for 24 hours but that didn't work either.  My potential guest is having the same problem.  I solved mine by using Google Pay but I can't tell the guest that because Airbnb blocks all websites and phone numbers.  (One potential guest actually spelled out her phone numbers so I could talk to her directly. )

How are we supposed to accept monthly reservations if the Airbnb website won't accept guests' payments?!!!
