Purchase home with LLC

Hi everyone! I am in desperate need of some help.

My question is would it be wise to purchase a residential home under my new LLC and rent it out?

I've researched a lot and found that this is what savvy investors do to build their portfolio and protect their personal assets.

@Koko42   It would be smart to present this scenario to your tax accountant.  He would be better able to advise you about affordability and the tax benefits of an LLC.  An attorney can advise you with respect to the protections of an LLC.  Spending a little money to get professional advice is worthwhile.
