Purchased a Property thats an Air BNB

Hello,

I’ve just brought a property and it’s a current AirBNB with the current host. 

I have forward bookings until April 2024. 

I know I cannot transfer bookings to a new host page, I also know I can’t take over the current owners hosting page.

I would like to figure out how best to approach getting the current guest over to the new host page? 

If I don’t move the current forward booking ahead to the new page I will effectively be starting completely from scratch. I’ll have at least 20 guests between now and April that could leave me potential reviews on the new host page. 

I love to hear from anyone who has experience with this.

As you have said you can't transfer bookings to your profile @Martin5112 

Surely this is something you discussed with the previous owner before agreeing to purchase the property?? Are they planning to host the guests who have been booked and agree a cohosting fee with you.

If not the previous owner will need to cancel the bookings. They can direct them to your new Airbnb profile but there is no guarantee they will rebook.

The previous owner shouldn't have taken bookings they knew they wouldn't be able to honour.
