Regulations in London for Airbnb

Hey London airbnb hosts,

I am thinking of buying a property in South West London around Hampton. I will be away a lot and thinking to rent it through Airbnb. Although I heard there are some short term restriction to rent in London. 
I also have a choice to buy a property in Brighton and do Airbnb. What would be best option? Grateful for any advices!

@Liudmila20 very simply London restricts you to 90 nights per year. I don't know of any restrictions in Brighton.

Thank you Mike! That’s not a good news.. is this rule for all London zones? Anyway I will try to google it. I guess it restricts Airbnb business in London significantly!

@Liudmila20 I think it covers all of London. Theoretically you can apply for planning permission to exceed this limit but the chance of it being granted is apparently near to, if not at, zero.
