Restaurant recommendations

We are trying out a new breakfast restaurant in town today. When we find places we like, I get some menus to keep as recommendations for our guests. Would this be a business deduction? We don’t recommend places we haven’t experienced.

@Judy90 I have no idea how strict the IRS is but this would never get past an HMRC audit. Somehow I doubt the IRS is more generous than HMRC!

@Judy90  Definitely NOT a deduction. A nice thing to do for your guests, but that's it.
