UK Keyless entry

Hi All,

Can anyone recommend a keyless entry system for the UK? We'd like a coded operated one where the codes can be changed between guests (ideally one where you can set the codes to expire). Long battery life or one with a warning to us when the battery is running low would also be great.

Before you go for this, make sure you check your home insurance requirements. When I had to change a lock a couple of years ago (after a guest broke it), I asked the locksmith RE keyless entry systems and also lock boxes. He told me to check my insurance, because in most cases the policies have quite strict criteria about what you can and can't have in order to still be covered. There is a particular British Standard applied to certain locks and most insurance companies will only cover you if you have one of those.
