Airbnb fees

Hi there. We are new to airbnb and received our first booking and are super excited. When we look at the payment our room rate is less then what we stipulated on our advert and this cost was put there before I included smart pricing. Even when I go onto my add the price per person or twin is less. How does this happen? Have we ticked something we shudnt have? Please can you let me know as its quite a substantial difference which is fine for this one as its confirmed but want make sure it doesnt happen again. Thank you so much.

Smart pricing is not smart at all, sometimes it is rediculous what prices are charged. I would deactivate it and manually set the prices in the calendar.

Hello @Gords-And-Sim0. Smart Pricing is manageable if set the minimum price correctly and manually set prices for any special events that generate a lot if traffic. It would be also smart to distinguish between high and low seasons.
