I need to set holiday pricing after a booking request

I forgot to change my Easter pricing. I got a booking request and messaged her that I would get back to her after holiday pricing is set. 

 

I went to Calendar for those dates and it won't allow me to click on it and change prices.

Hello @Carol29,

 

Try explaing your situation to the guest and ask them to send a re-request after you have updated the prices. Hopefully they should understand. Tell them that you are declining the current request.

 

Also, a lesson to learn, always keep your calendar updated 🙂

I had a guest request for christmas last year in August and I was lucky that the guest understood that the calendar wasn't updated and obliged to pay the higher price.

Hi Carol, 

How did you handle that? I just listed my house and didn't think about adjusting my calendar for summer and holiday rates and just got a booking request for the 4th of July2021 and it's $200 lower than it should be.

@Bobby207  It's really bad form and highly unprofessional to hold a guest respinsible to pay more because the host was remiss in keeping their pricing up to date. 

 

You have to take this one as a learning experience and suck it up.
