airbnb's lack of listing editing & management

airbnb's lack of listing editing & management

 My property listing is managed by a vacation rental agency. This agency is attempting to submit an answer to a review from March 2022 that I noticed did not have an answer. airbnb is refusing to allow it saying that too much time has passed. This, as the property owner, sounds of course ridiculous & much like holding us hostage.

airbnb has also not correctly amended the sleeping accommodations of this same listing as requested by the rental agency.

Has anyone else experienced these or similar issues?

@Kimberly918 your management company is giving you the run around. Airbnb does not edit listings - the host does. (or should)

Hi Kim, read here about reviews so you know 'all there's to know about them' if the rental agency has no idea or is not telling you;

"You can post a public response to a review that someone has left for you within 30 days after the review was submitted (not published). While you can’t remove it, you can report it if you think it violates our Review Policy."

Maybe you are not fully aware, agencies and us, do not work like this in Airbnb - with notices/ requests etc... Sit down with them in their computer and see HOW IT IS. They [or you, if you did it yourself] have the means to Change a listing, Snooze it, Unlist [is there but public can't see it] and even DELETE it and start again.
