Cancellation of reservation because host sold the property

All:

Our host cancelled our Thanksgiving week reservation because they said they are under contract to sell the home with a September close. The home is still on Airbnb's website as available to rent, and looking at the calendar, it is almost solidly booked through July of 2024. I am assuming, if what the owner says is true, the owner will be cancelling MANY reservations, upsetting MANY guests. I have contacted customer service to help me locate a similar listing, but I expect Thanksgiving week to be difficult to find. Has anyone gone through this and what was the result?

Contact Airbnb if booking is less than 30 days away and ask them to help you find alternative accommodation under its Air Cover for guests https://www.airbnb.co.uk/help/article/170
