Without notice, my current guest (scheduled to check out on Feb. 12) left the STR property very early in the morning. I will inspect before calling the clean team. Should the guest get any kind of refund for bailing like this?

Yes...she is gone for sure. I supervised the rapid-cleaning, and all is well. Thanks!
@Thomas391 if you have a flexible cancellation policy then, as long as they cancel, they will get a partial refund.
Are you sure they haven't just gone on a long day trip or weekend away?
Hi @Thomas391
The cancellation policy for your listing will show you whether the guest is entitled to any refund.
Personally I wouldn't voluntarily refund a guest in these circumstances.
How do you know they have checked out early? Were any concerned raised by the guest regarding the listing during their stay?
Are you certain they've actually left? I've had people leave to go for extensive hikes and not come back for a few days. Done people use places as a jumping point to maybe a less accessible or more expensive place.
