Hi
I've booked an AirBnB where I've requested that the host speaks English but when I arrived, the host didn't speak a word of English and they were giving me instructions in a language I have no idea about.
Furthermore, their listing is not clean. There are human ejaculate stains on the sofa, making the living room unusable, there are blood stains on the rug, snot stains on the headboard of the bed, which is revolting, the bathroom sink drains onto the bathroom floor, making it soaking wet and their toilet brush doesn't have a holder and is simply placed on the bathroom floor so every time I use the sink, the bathroom floor floods with previous users faeces. The kitchen cutlery also has not been washed at all rendering the kitchen unusable. Having being forced to pay a cleaning fee for this listing, I would expect it to be clean. There's also countless areas of mould around the listing.
Overall, I feel like I've been conned. This is not what I was expecting when I booked the listing. Non of this was mentioned in the listing and I feel as though they have committed fraud by lying about being able to speak English.
I have contacted AirBnB but they are not willing to help with this, which is frustrating. Surely if someone has paid for a service then they should receive the service that they have paid for.
Is AirBnB going downhill? Are hosts now allowed to commit fraud on their listings and go unpunished? If so, should we all be lying on our listings now if AirBnB are happy to sit back and let this happen to their guests?
