Visa gift card

Hi there I am not a host but I am trying to book a night with airbnb. I have a $200 Visa gift card not an Airbnb gift card. I was wondering if anyone has used a Visa gift card to purchase a night with Airbnb. Prepaid Visa cards and some things online and they don’t. If anyone knows please reply!

Hello @Anna16211, I can recommend you to try adding a card as a payment method to your account. If the card is successfully added, try using it as a payment method on the booking payment page.

I just tried using a visa gift card to pay for our Airbnb home I was looking for us to stay at and it will not take it either. It’s so frustrating now I don’t know what to do.

@Kelly2406 Did you figure out anything. I am in the same boat. Rebate card from Spectrum for $1600 I can't use. I think I can use it to buy an Airbnb gift card and pay with that??
